Williamsport Postcards

These postcards depicting Williamsport, Maryland are from the collection of the Williamsport Memorial Library. They show scenes along the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, Cushwa Basin Bryon’s Tannery, downtown Williamsport, Springfield farm, and other views of the area. Many of them were produced by the People's Pharmacy, Williamsport. The photographer who took most of the photographs was Joseph Grove, who may be included in one of the photographers as the carver of model canal boats.

The library is named to memorialize the fourteen local students who died when their school bus was hit by a passing train.
